News: DAC Continues to Add Products and Services October 1, 2007 DAC has upgraded their website to offer an FTP site. This feature allows customers to easily upload large artwork files to the website. The feature has clear instructions on how to set up a login and password. Then the file can easily be uploaded just like it would be burned to a CD. This makes the artwork instantly available for DAC to begin work on graphics instead of waiting for a CD to arrive via mail or other parcel service. |

DAC Products Announces Acquisition March 5, 2007 There have been some very exciting developments at DAC Products in the last few weeks! They have purchased the assets of 21C Retail Arts and also retained a number of the key management and plant personnel with a combined experience of over 75 years. 21C, a retail display products and services company, has designed and produced showrooms and fixtures for retail accounts such as Lazy Boy, Nextel, Sprint, S & K Menswear, Bassett Furniture, and other national brands. With this purchase, DAC’s manufacturing and warehouse space has now more than doubled, bringing the total space to over 200,000 square feet. All of which is supported by two graphic and conceptual artists, and four product design engineers as well as experienced customer service, purchasing and manufacturing professionals. Tony Smith, President of DAC Products, Inc. stated “We are very excited about the solid financial and management support we can lend and the additional services and offerings that we will be able to provide both our existing DAC customers and the former 21C customers; all with the same high caliber customer service, sales and manufacturing quality their customers have become accustomed to.” He added “This purchase, along with DAC’s building products focus, will enable us to supplement products offered in the past, as well as increase services to include everything from point of purchase fixtures, to complete showroom layout and design services.” DAC has recognized the trend to more upscale showrooms in the building products industry and this acquisition gives them a solid platform to build on with expanded choices to their customers. The technologies, people, and customers of the combined companies will serve to enhance each other. Other investments DAC has made in the last five years, allowing for continued improvement of their services has been in custom sewn cases and graphic arts.
